Introduction

Welcome to the official web page of the Cambridge City Basketball Club in England, UK. We run weekly basketball indoor scrimmage sessions and mini-tournaments in the area of Cambridge for adult experienced players only.

How we do it

During the summer, we support adult development with our basketball clinics. We are primarily based in central Cambridge and we run sessions twice per week (2-hour slots). You can find all relevant information on our location pages. We do not currently participate as a team in any national leagues and our teams are formed by a group of committed players that are passionate about the sport of basketball in the county of Cambridgeshire, England. Many of our players play for local clubs ( Cambridge Cats, Cambridge Cougars, University of Cambridge, Anglia Ruskin University) or have been playing in other clubs in the past.

Our community

As a community-based organization focused on improving fitness for everyone, we use the sport of basketball as a means to encourage individuals to leave their sedentary lifestyle behind. We wish to promote fitness, teamwork, and leadership through sports. We aim to improve the participation of social basketball for everyone equally and sensitively regardless of age, disability, gender, race, ethnic origin, cultural or social background, sexual orientation, religious belief, political affiliation or any other personal characteristic.
